Rope4 artificial climbing wall

A group of young people belong to the newly formed Rope4 Adventure Club of Bangladesh were in a tireless effort to nurture the aspiration of a healthy lifestyle by promoting positive adventure activities with a vision of taking part in the Olympics in near future! Establishing a climbing wall is a step forward to fulfill that dream. A climbing wall is an artificially constructed wall with climbing holds for hands and feet, usually used for indoor climbing practice.

High altitude

Mountain medicine recognizes three altitude regions that reflect the lowered amount of oxygen in the atmosphere: 1. High altitude: 8,000 – 12,000 ft (2,438 – 3,658 meters); 2. Very high altitude: 12,000 – 18,000 ft (3,658 – 5,487 meters); and 2. Extremely high altitude: 18,000+ ft (5,500+ meters).

মরিস হার্জোগ, একজন ফরাসী পর্বতারোহী যিনি জন্মগ্রহণ করেছিলেন ফ্রান্সের, লিয়নে শহরে। ১৯৫০ সালে, ফরাসী অন্নপূর্ণা অভিযানের নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছিলেন তিনি।যে অভিযানটি ছিল সে বছরের, ৮০০০ মিটারের উপরে প্রথম সফল অভিযান। ফিরে এসে তিনি এই অভিযান সম্পর্কে বই লিখেছিলেন যা সর্বাধিক বিক্রিত বই হিসেবে বিবেচিত হয়েছিল।

১৯৯৯ সাল। কনরাড আঙ্কার তখন তার পর্বতারোহণ ক্যারিয়ারের শীর্ষে। সে বছর তাঁর এভারেস্ট আরোহণের সময়, ১৯২৪ সালে এভারেস্টে হারিয়ে যাওয়া বিখ্যাত পর্বতারোহী জর্জ ম্যালোরীর দেহাবশেষ আবিষ্কার করেন। জর্জ ম্যালোরী ও এন্ড্রু আরভাইনের মৃত্যু পর্বতারোহণের অন্যতম রহস্য। আর ম্যালোরীর দেহাবশেষ খুঁজে পাওয়া সেই আলোচনায় আবার ঝড় তোলে, যা কনরাডকে অনেক পরিচিতি দিয়েছিল।

The Achievers in the field of Mountaineering, Cycling, Hiking, and Mountain Biking for the year 2019 share their experiences in front of audiences.

Adventure Course 2.0 by Rope4

Each year Rope4 Outdoor Education organizes Adventure Course to share the basic adventure activity experiences with the enthusiasts. This course is designed for the people who want to pursue adventure activities especially mountaineering. This course will be the opportunity to explore the interest and endurance level. Minimum physical fitness and volunteerism are required to attend the course. Smoking and other drugs are strictly prohibited in the course!
