With the motto of 'learn & share', this platform has extended the opportunity to motivate young people for a healthy lifestyle to be qualified for any outdoor and adventurous activities. Rope4 introduced 'Mission Himalaya' which is an exemplary award project to inspire potential young people for mountaineering. Rope4 practices ZERO tolerance for smoking and other harmful drugs.

A unique approach to youth development

After the successful chapters of Mission Himalaya 2018, 2019, and 2022, Rope4 Outdoor Education is initiating Mission Himalaya 2023 with the confidence to continue an alternative approach to youth development in Bangladesh. It has already been established as a brand for the youth! These challenges motivated the youths to take up an active and healthy lifestyle for their personal development and find the hidden strength within.

BD Mountaineers Summit, March 10, 2023

The year 2022 has brought a breath of relief to mountaineering in the country after two years of stagnation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite the economic downturn resulting from the Russia-Ukraine war, numerous expeditions took place throughout the year despite the changing weather conditions in the Himalayas. Most of the expeditions have also seen success. Great achievements have been added to the mountaineering history of the country by the hands of young mountaineers.
