Sohojogi Foundation collaborates with Mission Himalaya 2024!

Rope4 has established an annual youth development initiative known as Mission Himalaya, aimed at attracting interested young individuals from across the country. Participants will undergo an audition process to select candidates for a Boot Camp. This camp is structured to maximize their potential and challenge their limits. Ultimately, based on their overall performance, participants will have the opportunity to receive an award for a high-altitude expedition in the Himalayas, Nepal.

This year, Rope4 was able to provide support for only one scholarship for the learning expedition to Yala Peak, Nepal. The Sohojogi Foundation generously sponsored the Mission Himalaya 2024 scholarship for the first and second runners-up, Rijvee Ahmed Supto and Meherunnesa Nury.

Mr. Tahmid Ahmed, the Founder of the Foundation, holds a degree in Environmental Science and is actively involved in various volunteer initiatives. The ‘Shapnawpuron’ wing of this Foundation has chosen to assist two deserving participants from the Boot Camp of the Mission Himalaya 2024 competition in realizing their aspirations. The Foundation’s motto emphasizes collaboration over competition.

Rope4 expresses profound gratitude to the Sohojogi Foundation for their invaluable assistance in enabling two individuals to realize their aspirations and wishes the Foundation continued success in all their future endeavors.

This is a great news of for Rope4 that the Foundation has expressed their intention to provide support to Rope4 in the future as well. We anticipate nurturing our collaborative efforts moving forward.

Mission Himalaya is an annual initiative organized by Rope4 Outdoor Education that emphasizes a distinctive approach to youth development through mountaineering.

Rope4 serves as an open platform designed to inspire young individuals to adopt a healthy lifestyle by engaging in various outdoor activities, which include, but are not limited to, fitness, hiking, trekking, cycling, kayaking, running, and mountaineering.
