Rock Climbing Course 2022 at Purulia, India

After a long health safety break, this year Rope4 is going to be a part of that beautiful event Rock Climbing Course 2022 at Purulia, India. It’s a great opportunity for those who are interested! Adaptive to any environment, acceptance, tolerance, volunteerism, and keenness to learn are the must criteria to possess to attend a course close to nature.

Rock climbing is a sport in which participants climb up, across, or down natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a usually pre-defined route without falling. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, endurance, agility, and balance along with mental control. Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and the use of specialized climbing equipment is crucial for the safe completion of routes.

Rock Climbing is an important stage of mountaineering learning. Because of the wide range and variety of rock formations around the world, rock climbing has been separated into several different styles and sub-disciplines, such as scrambling, bouldering, sport climbing, and traditional climbing another activity involving scaling hills and similar formations, differentiated by the rock climber’s sustained use of hands to support their body weight as well as to provide balance.

Our neighboring country is India, where countless clubs provide this rock climbing training for everyone with subsidies. Experienced trainers, adequate food arrangements, and all the necessary equipment are there. Rope4 organized the 4-day long course in 2018 and 2019 with Howrah and Sonarpur Clubs.

Rock climbing competitions have the objectives of either completing the route in the least amount of attempts or attaining the farthest point on an increasingly difficult route. Indoor rock climbing is typically split into three disciplines. These disciplines are bouldering, lead climbing, and top roping.

This year 4 participants are getting scholarships from Rope4 to attend the Rock Climbing Course in Purulia, India. They are Tanzina Rahaman, Hasnahena Lucky, Minhaj Uddin, and Monir Hossain.
