BD Mountaineers Summit 2025

The year 2024 stands out as a pivotal moment in the nation’s mountaineering history, characterized by a remarkable increase in expeditions. Much like the guiding beacon of Cairn Peron, climbers from all corners of the country have tackled a variety of mountain challenges this year, continually pushing their boundaries.

Alongside the familiar faces in the climbing community, we have witnessed an influx of new adventurers stepping into the close-knit world of mountaineering. The crisp, invigorating air has enchanted these young climbers, drawing them into its captivating embrace. The volume of expeditions organized through different clubs, platforms, and personal efforts has been truly impressive.

After a two-year break, a gathering to share the exhilarating tales of both novice and experienced climbers is set for February 7, 2025. We’ll get to hear about their creative journeys and aspirations for future climbs, all while sitting comfortably on solid ground and dreaming of the majestic Himalayas.

অভিযানের সংখ্যার দিক থেকে ২০২৪ সাল নিঃসন্দেহে দেশের পর্বতারোহণ ইতিহাসে মাইলফলক হয়ে থাকবে। পর্বতারোহীদের পথনির্দেশক কেয়ার্ন পেরোনোর মতোই বছরজুড়ে দেশের আরোহীরা পেরিয়েছেন অসংখ্য পর্বতের বাধা। নিজেদের সক্ষমতার মানদণ্ডকে নিয়ে গেছেন আরেকটু উঁচুতে।

পর্বতারোহণ মহলের পরিচিত মুখেরা ছাড়াও এবার অসংখ্য নতুন মুখের দেখা মিলেছে পর্বতারোহণের আপাত ক্ষুদ্র গণ্ডিতে। পাতলা বাতাসের হাড় হিম করা রাজ্য অমোঘ আকর্ষণে জড়িয়েছে এই তরুণদের। বিভিন্ন ক্লাব কিংবা প্ল্যাটফর্মের ব্যানারে ছাড়াও ব্যক্তিগত উদ্যোগে সংঘটিত অভিযানের সংখ্যাও নেহাত কম নয়।

বছর দুয়েকের বিরতির পর দেশের নতুন-পুরোনো পর্বতারোহীদের দুঃসাহসিক সব অভিযানের গল্প শোনার আসর বসছে আগামী ৭ ফেব্রুয়ারি। শুনব তাদের অভিযানের পথের কল্পনা এবং পরিকল্পনা! সমতল ভূমিতে বসে উচ্চ হিমালয়ের গল্প শুনতে আসছেন তো?
